Well well well, we are proud to share with you that India has once again stood up to its ‘INDIA’ stature at the 71st edition of Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity by bringing home four coveted and roaring Lions (1 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze) on Day 1 of Cannes Lions 2024. 

But while all eyes are on India’s Creative Contingent at the French Riviera this time, little birdie tells us that strides are being made in India’s Advertising and Marketing ecosystem. Starting with one of India’s biggest Media Agencies- GroupM consolidating three of its verticals- Content, Entertainment & Sports, to form GroupM Content & Sport, and Dentsu announcing the global expansion of its Innovation Lab to Mumbai and Bengaluru in India and several other global markets.

Not just this, Disney+ Hotstar has also introduced a new advertising feature called 'Pause Ads' on CTV, making it the first platform in the country to introduce this cutting-edge format.

So, circling back to what we told you in our earlier newsletter, we continue to cross our fingers for India’s big win at Cannes Lions 2024 and bring to you our 'Scoop' as promised!
